Transformed and sustainable livelihoods
Integrity: We try by all means to be transparent and honest in whatever we do and say and accept responsibility for our collective and individual actions in all areas of duty.
Respect for humanity: Man was created in God’s image, and for this, we respect each individual in their own capacities, regardless of gender, or race, we recognize their individual contributions to human development in spirit body and mind.
Dedication to service: We endeavor to work together effectively to serve each other and then extend to the community.
Accountability: We account for every resource including; time and financial gifts. Every single individual contributions to us matters, and so, its in our interest to account for them.
Faith and beliefs
The Scriptures: The Holy Bible (66 books) is the only authoritative, infallible, word of God, written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe in one God (Father=Yaweh) He is Spirit, and the Spirit (Holy Spirit) came to earth in Flesh (Jesus), and called Himself the Son of God (Jesus) while He was on earth. God eternally existing in three equal persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) with same nature and attributes (Mathew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
God and Creation: God created the heavens and the earth (the whole universe and everything in it) in 6 days. God created Adam in His own image on the 6th day, for His glory and for His praise. God rested on the 7th day.
Jesus: God came to earth in Flesh (Jesus), through virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14), in Bethlehem
(Micah 5:2), in the line of Judah (Isaiah 11:1, 10), dwelt among people (Immanuel), as prophesied in the Old Testament, to save all people from sins. (Isaiah 9:6) (John 1:1-18) Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons, and preached the Kingdom of Heaven.
Prophets: God gave the 10 Commandments through Moses and sent prophets to warn of coming disasters and to call people to repentance.
Humans: All humans are the descendants of Adam and Eve. They all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23), and they are all destined to die. (Romans 6:23)
Salvation: We believe that Jesus died on the cross to save all mankind from going to eternal hell and whoever asks Him to forgive their sins will be saved, have eternal life (John 3:16), and become sons and daughters of God. And there is no other Savior besides Jesus. (John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6)
Resurrection and Ascension: Jesus was resurrected on the third day, and ascended into heaven in front of about 500 witnesses. (Matthew 28:1-10, 1 Corinthians 15:6)
Heaven: All followers of Jesus will be in heaven where there is no sin, no sickness, no pain, no sorrow, no devil or demons, no death.
Great Commission: All Christians are called to preach the Gospel, to save the lost from going to eternal hell. (Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 16:15-18)
Church: Jesus is the head of the Church, and Christians are the body of the church of Christ. (Colossians 1:18)
Marriage: The sanctity of marriage is a God-ordained, special union between one man and one woman, where sexual relations are both honored and affirmed by God (Gen. 1:27-28, 2:24-25). The Bible teaches that all sexual unions outside of marriage are sinful (Heb. 13:4).
Second Coming: We believe that Jesus is coming back to judge the world. He will come back on the cloud, with angels, with the sound of trumpets, and every eye shall see and every tongue will confess that Jesus is the Lord. (Acts 1:9-11, I Thessalonians 4:14-18, Matthew 24:29-31)
Hell: Satan, demons, false prophets, and all who reject Jesus as their Savior until their moment of death, will be in hell forever. (Revelation 20:10)
Sexual Immorality: Forms of the sin of sexual immorality include adultery, fornication, homosexuality, incest, and pornography. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Lev. 18:22)
Water baptism: The ordinance of water baptism (Matt. 28:19) is administered to all those who have repented of their sins and who have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ to the saving of their souls (Ro. 6:3-5; Col.2:12)
The Lord’s Supper: We regularly observe the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper as enjoined in the Scriptures (Luke 22:19, 20; 1Cor. 11:23-26).
